I, Susan Ann Hay, do solemnly swear that:  

·       I will be chaste and ethical in my life as a practitioner of energy therapies, and I will be honest in all my dealings in my profession.

·         I will make no distinctions on the basis of race, class, sex, beliefs or sexual orientation.

·        I will treat those who seek my help with courtesy, integrity, sensitivity and tact. I will ensure that their dignity is preserved at all times.

·         I will hold all written and verbal communication with my clients in strict confidence.

·         I will inform my clients that Windsong therapies are not a substitute for qualified medical or professional care, but are, rather, a valuable part of a wholesome wellness program.

·       I will not diagnose or prescribe, or advise my clients to stop taking prescribed medications, as these are beyond the purview of my training as an energy practitioner.

·       If, in my opinion, my client requires a doctor, psychologist, or other medical professional, I will encourage him/her to seek such services.

·         I will keep in mind that I am not the one who heals my clients, nor do I predict outcomes.  I am simply the facilitator whose job it is to provide an environment within which healing can occur. 

·         I will seek to empower my clients.  I will remember that it is their body, their health, and their personal issues, and that ultimately any choices are completely theirs to make.  I may suggest, but they are the ones who will decide.

·         I will work to the best of my knowledge and ability.

I will maintain these ethics and the dignity of my chosen profession in all my dealings with my clients, my colleagues, and the general public.
